Van Buren Middle School caps off a successful season

Van Buren County Middle School Eaglettes capped off a great season by winning the James C. Haile State Invitational Tournament, on Feb. 2, 2019.  VBMS Eaglettes had a great season finishing with a record of 18-3.  The Eaglettes went undefeated in the SVC regular season conference, finished runner-up in the SVC conference tournament, and was victorious in the James C. Haile Tournament, bringing home first place and the gold ball.  This is the first girls’ team to bring home the gold ball from the James C. Haile Tournament.

The Eaglettes had three players named to the SVC All-Tournament team.  They are Kaytlin Crain, Emily Allen, and Layla Bouldin.
