Author Carol Howard Merritt will visit Tennessee Tech University on Wednesday, April 12 as part of the Tree House Learning Village’s Wake Up Wednesday series.

Merritt will be available for a book signing in the university book store on the bottom level of the Roaden University Center from 3-4 p.m. and will speak in New Hall North Room 282 at 4:30 p.m.

Merritt is an award-winning author, speaker and minister whose work highlights ministering in a new generation. She is the author of “Tribal Church: Ministering to the Missing Generation” and “Reframing Hope: Vital Ministry in a New Generation” and writes for Christian Century, The Huffington Post, Duke Divinity’s Faith and Leadership blog, and TribalChurch.org.Her most recent book, “Healing Spiritual Wounds: Reconnecting with a Loving God After Experiencing a Hateful Church” will be available for purchase at her April 12 book signing event on campus.

Her talk is free and open to the public.

The Roaden University Center is located at 1000 N. Dixie Ave., in Cookeville.
