Warrior youth teams are headed to championship

Griffin Adams rushed for four touchdowns this past Saturday. The Warriors will host all three-conference championship games Oct. 6, at the White County Recreation Complex, on Smithville Highway.The Peewee Warriors will kick off the day at 10 a.m., with the Juniors following at noon, and the Seniors wrapping up the day at 2 p.m.

The Warrior youth football teams continue to go full steam ahead, with all three teams advancing to the Conference Championship.

The Peewee team got the day going, picking up a 41-6 win. Griffin Adams, who finished the day with four touchdowns, led the Warriors. Tate Pinion and Clay Brewington would add a score. Adams and Paul Dylan Bickford led the Warriors’ defense.

The Junior Warriors pushed their win streak to six games by picking up a win over Smith County, 32-13. JoJo Dowell and Tucker Pinion led the way on offense, and Will Thomas would complete a 50-yard TD to Tucker Pinion.

The Senior Warriors would continue their dominant winning by picking up a 35-13 win over Upperman. Tripp Pinion led the way with three touchdowns and Kayden Blaylock, and Xavier Gamblin had one each. Tripp Pinion and Blaylock led the defense also.

The Peewee Warriors will kick off the day at 10, with the juniors following at 12, and the Seniors wrapping up the day at 2.
