Warriorette golf team finishes in second place at Red Raider Classic

The White County High School Warriorettes brought home a second-place trophy this past Wednesday after competing in the Red Raider Classic. Members of the Warriorettes include (L-R) Morgan Quick, Ansley Phifer, and Makenzie Morton.

The White County High School golfers traveled to Coffee County, on Wednesday, to compete in the Red Raider Classic held at Willowbrook.

The Warriorettes came away with a second-place finish in the event, finishing seven strokes behind first-place Tullahoma High School.

The Warriorettes carded a 162 led by Makenzie Morton. Morton would finish her day with a 76, which was good enough for third place in the tournament. Morgan Quick followed that score up with an 86. Ansley Phifer would also play and shot a 100.

The Warriors finished their day with a team score of 342. Tyson Welch came in with the low score for the Warriors with a 78. Jarrett Glass finished his day with an 84, and Trey Crockett shot one shot higher with an 85. Tristian Roberts rounded out the Warriors score with a 95. Jeremiah Gardenhire rounded out the Warriors score with a 104.
