Warriorette volleyball splits pair

The White County High School volleyball team had a busy opening to their week. The Warriorettes were on the road on both Monday and Tuesday. On Monday night, the Warriorettes traveled to Livingston Academy 2-0 (25-21 and 25-19). On Tuesday night, the Warriorettes would travel to Soddy-Daisy to open up their District 6AAA slate. The Warriorettes would come up with the short end falling 3-0 (25-10, 25-23, and 25-14).

On Monday night, Lauren Turner led the Warriorettes. Turner finished the game with seven kills and five blocks. On Tuesday night, On Tuesday night, Hannah Kate Sims led the Warriorettes offense finishing the match with five kills and one block.

The Warriorettes Junior Varsity traveled to Coffee County this past week. The Warriorettes finished the weekend 2-3. The Warriorettes would lose their first game against Lincoln County 2-1 (19-25, 25-11, and 10-15). In their second game against Coffee County’s first team, the Warriorettes would fall 2-0 (15-25 and 17-25). The Warriorettes would fall that up by picking up back-to-back wins against Oakland 2-0 (25-16 and 25-21) and Coffee County’s second team 2-0 (25-21 and 25-20). The Warriorettes, though, would lose their final game of the day to Coffee County first team 2-0 (25-15 and 25-13).

The Warriorettes JV team started their week off by picking up two wins. On Monday, the Warriorettes pick up a 2-0 win (25-21 and 25-19). On Tuesday, the Warriorettes won 2-0 (25-14 and 25-20).

The Warriorettes will return to action, on Thursday night, when they return to the friendly confines of Roy Sewell Gymnasium. The Warriorettes will take on District 6AAA opponent Cookeville.
