Warriorettes playday Nov. 10

The White County High School Warriorettes’ basketball team will host its annual playday, on Nov. 10. The Warriorettes are welcoming 20 area teams to come in for one final tune-up before the high school basketball season kicks off Tuesday.

The games will be played in five gyms in three different locations. The playday will take place at White County High School, White County Middle School, and Northfield Elementary School. The play day is scheduled to go from 8 a.m. to some time around 7 p.m., with 32 games scheduled to be played, on Saturday.

The Warriorettes will take part in the event, with the varsity team opening up the day playing the first game at WCHS, at 8 a.m., against Van Buren County High School. The Warriorettes will then hit the court at noon against Sequatchie County. The Warriorettes will wrap up their day at 3 p.m. when they take on Red Boiling Springs at White County Middle School.

Van Buren County High School will also be participating in the play day. The Eaglettes are scheduled to play three games on Saturday. Their first game is scheduled for 8 a.m. against the Warriorettes. The Eaglettes will then play Lakeway in the WCMS auxiliary gym, at 11 a.m. The Eaglettes will close out the day at 1 p.m., at Northfield Elementary School, when they take on Livingston Academy.

Admission for this event is $5 per person. Come out and watch a lot of local teams in action.
