WCHS volleyball beats Soddy Daisy in big win on Sept. 5

The ladies from White County High School took a big win Sept. 5 on the campus of White County High School vs. Soddy Daisy with a three games to one score in the best of five match.  White County won the first game 25-16. Game two saw Soddy Daisy win the game with a 20- 25 score.  Game three saw White County take the win with a 25-22 score.  With a two games to one game lead, the Warriors took the last game to win the match 25-21.  In conference play the team must win a best of five match.

Senior Lauren Turner led the team with seven kills and five blocks and six aces.  Caydra Parker had five kills, one block, and one ace.  Karla Gentry had two kills and four blocks.  Nia Powers had seven kills and two blocks with two aces.  Lindi Smith had two kills and two aces.  Hannah Sims had three kills and five blocks.  Ellie Savage contributed two aces.  Taylor Roberts added one ace to the team’s totals.
