WCHS volleyball takes Sept. 16 match against Crossville

The White County High School volleyball team traveled to Crossville on Sept. 16 to take on Cumberland County High School.  In the first game, Sparta won by a score of 27-25 in a thriller.  The second game went Sparta’s way 25-20 to win the match.

Nia Powers led the team with 7 kills for the match.  Powers also had 1 ace on serve.  Hannah Sims had 6 kills.  Lauren Turner and Caydra Parker added 6 kills each.  Parker added 6 assists in the match.  Lindi Smith had 2 kills and 5 assists.  Taylor Roberts had 2 assists and 1 ace, and Ellie Savage came in with 1 assist.
