“Welcome to Medicare” class

Are you turning 65 soon and confused about Medicare benefits and choices? The State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) is conducting two free “Welcome to Medicare” classes at the White County Library, in Sparta, 10 a.m.-noon, and 5:30-7:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 17. The classes will consist of training on Parts A, B, C and D, as well as Medigap policies and ways to prevent Medicare fraud. SHIP is a federally funded program administered through the Area Agency on Aging & Disability. Please call SHIP at 1-877-801- 0044 to reserve a seat.
