White County Retired Teachers

On April 12, 2018, members of the White County Retired Teachers Association, along with a few friends, enjoyed a trip to Nashville. The purpose of the trip was to visit the set of the daytime television show called Pickler and Ben.

On April 11, White County Retired Teachers Association met at the Sparta-White County Senior Center. Edd Rogers Chevrolet Buick hosted the April meeting, which the car dealership has been doing for many years. Following the meal, Scott Swoape, of the White County UT extension office, gave a presentation about straw bale gardening. Brenda Roberts, senior center director, spoke about the services and activities offered by the center.
