William C. England, 64, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2001, at University Medical Center in Lebanon.
England was born December 12, 1936, in White County, to Carl Andrew England and Aretta Gertrude Stamps England.
He attended the Church of Christ. England served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and was in construction. He was also a member of The American Legion.
England was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Wheeler England of Lebanon; mother, Aretta Gertrude England of Sparta; one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and J.D. Johnson of Lebanon; two sons, Andy England of Lebanon and Barry Parker of Murfreesboro; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Betty Williams and husband of Indiana and Shirley Doll of Sparta; one brother and sister-in-law, Gale and Mary England of Joelton;
and six grandchildren, Jessie and David Johnson, Nicole and Andy England, and Brad and Breanne Parker.
Graveside services will be held Friday, October 26, 2001, at 11 a.m. at Old Bon Air Cemetery. Bro. Jack Farley will officiate.
Thurman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
