Youth football on a roll

The White County Warrior youth football teams continue a successful campaign this season with back-to-back sweeps of Livingston and Upperman.
The Pee-Wee team remained unbeaten with decisive wins over Livingston and Upperman by a final score of 28-0 and 34-0. The team has been led in rushing by Griffin Adams, who have combined to score six touchdowns in the two games, and Tate Pinion with two. The Warriors’ defense has also been led by Paul Dylan Bickford and Adams. The Pee-Wee Warriors are now 5-0 on the season.
The Junior Warriors have hit their stride, picking up a 38-24 win over Livingston and then taking care of Upperman by a final score of 34-6. Tucker Pinion, who scored five touchdowns in the two games and also Jo Jo Dowell with three touchdowns, led the Warriors on offense. Pinion and Dowell have also driven the Warriors’ defense. The Junior Warriors are now sitting at 3-2 on the season.
The Senior Warriors continue their dominance on the football field with a 35-6 win over Livingston and a 35-15 win over Upperman. Tripp Pinion led the Warriors’ offense with six touchdowns in the two games, and Kayden Blaylock had four. Tripp Pinion and Blaylock also led the Warriors’ defense combining with 41 tackles in the two games. The Senior Warriors sit at 5-0 on the season.
All three Warrior teams will return to action this Saturday when they travel to Smith County to take on the Owls. All three games will be at Smith County High School starting at 5 p.m.
