James Robert ‘Bob’ Taylor, 73, of Huntington, Ind., passed away Jan. 28, 2005.
Taylor was born Feb. 19, 1931, in White County, to Bedford Taylor and Euni Webb Taylor.
Taylor served as a cook with the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Taylor was preceded in death by his parents;
his wife, Irene Selby Taylor; one daughter, Katherine M. Taylor Dolby; one sister, Mattie Rae Taylor; and one brother, Ed Taylor.

Pattye Ann Anderson, 72, of Sparta, passed away Jan. 26, 2005.
Anderson was born Dec. 30, 1932, in White County, to Casto Lockwood and Marie Goff Lockwood.
She had been an assembly operator.
Anderson was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oakley Andersons; two sons, Bobby Anderson, Vander Eugene Anderson; three brothers, Arnold, Donald, Glenn Lockwood; one sister, Linda Howard.

Clela Mae Cruise Bebow, 98, of McMinnville, passed away Jan. 19, 2005.
Bebow was born March 9, 1906, in White County, to Asa Cruise and Ivy Jenkins.
She had been a homemaker.
Bebow was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Bebow; one daughter, Dorothy Dodson Lee; one sister, Delma Cruise Holliday; and one brother, Plummer Cruise.

Lassie Swindell, 92, of Sparta passed away Jan. 15, 2005.
Swindell was born July 25, 1912, in Putnam County, to William D. Thomas and Susie Riley Thomas.
She had been a homemaker.
Swindell was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Lee Swindell and grandchildren.

Austin was born Jan. 23, 1935, in White County, to Charlie Robert Goodwin and Della Howell Goodwin.
She had been a seamstress.
Austin was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Rickey Dow Austin; and two brothers, Thomas Goodwin and James Harold Goodwin.

Linda Sue Little, 57, of Concord passed away January 10, 2006.
Little was born Sept. 4, 1948, in White County, to Willie Roach and Beatrice Roach.
She was a lifelong member of Bon Air Church of God. She was employed with IBM.
Little was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who had a tremendous work ethic. She had an inspirational two-year battle with cancer.
Little was preceded in death by her parents.

David Cordell Holland, 80, passed away Jan. 9, 2005.
Holland was born Sept. 18, 1924, in White County, to Samuel Holland and Mary Etta Cope Holland.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a farmer.
Holland was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ethel Billings Holland; four sisters, Bessie Hutchings, Lucille Hutchings, Mattie Belle Wilson, Novella Keathley; and five brothers, Ernest, Everette, Sebron, Samuel Jr., and Monroe.
Survivors include one brother, James Holland, of Sparta; several nieces and nephews; and caregivers, Retha Maxwell and Opal Simmons.
