Chance Jordan Milton, 21, of Sparta, passed away June 3, 2007.
Milton was born Sept. 5, 1985, in Putnam County, to Rick and Glenora Winton Milton.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lester Milton.
Survivors include his parents, Rick and Glenora Winton Milton, of Sparta; one brother, Wynn Milton, of Sparta; grandparents, Jewell Milton, of Cookeville, Eleanor Winton and Glen Winton, both of Sparta; aunts and uncles, Sheila and Emit Winton, of Rickman, Jennifer and Greg Winton, of Sparta, Faye Harris, Frankie and Donna Milton, Tony and Cathy Milton, all of Cookeville, Janie and Phil Davis, of Portland, Ore.; great aunt, Ruth Mitchell, of Sparta; friends, … CONTINUED

Steve Randall Simmons, 48, of Sparta, passed away May 31, 2007.
Simmons was born Oct. 26, 1958, in White County, to Leonard Lewis Simmons and Nellie Ruth Greene Simmons.
He had been employed in the construction industry.
Simmons was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Ruth Greene Simmons; and one brother, Leonard Allen Simmons.
Survivors include his wife, Tamara ‘Tami’ Simmons, of Sparta; one son, Shawn Simmons, of Valparaiso, Ind.; father, Leonard Simmons, of Sparta; stepmother, Geneva R. Simmons, of Sparta; one brother, Richard Lewis Simmons, of Sparta; father-in-law, Thomas Richard Dorris, of Sparta; and two step-daughters, Rachel Ann Stafford and Chelsea Desiree Sherrell, both of Sparta.… CONTINUED
