Unique Designs Florist is the new name for Unique Designs Flowers and Gifts.
New owners, Teresa and Chip Hall, have been operating the long-lived flower and gift shop since August 2007 after purchasing it from Carol Geer.
Teresa is a familiar face as she has worked there for the past 10 years. And she’s not the only person that people will recognize.
“Mary, that works for me – she’s been in it about 30 years,” said Teresa.
They’ve added a few things since taking over. They have a new line of candles and several other items.
But Unique Designs continues to offer tuxedo rentals. In fact, they are the only place in town. And customers can choose from a large variety of tuxes and brands.
Of course, they are known for their flower arrangements for any occasion. They also have grapevine wreaths, balloons, lots of wedding equipment, tapestries, throws, artwork and plants.
Unique Designs has silk and fresh flowers for all seasons, including decorative flowers for the home, as well as figurines. They are having a sale on Vols and Titans figurines.
Unique Designs offers delivery to all of White County, as well as Pleasant Hill, Spencer and Cookeville, and some places in McMinnville and Crossville. They will even go and decorate gravesites for people who can’t make it themselves.
Customers with long-range florist needs can arrange everything through Unique Designs. The business is a wire service, which allows them to get just the right arrangement to anywhere in the United States.
“We have several customers from surrounding counties that come here,” stated Teresa. “They like our work.”
And they hope to help their customers whenever the need arises, with 24/7 service.
“People can call me at home, if something comes up on the weekend,” said Teresa.
Call Teresa or Mary locally at 836-8430 or toll free at 1 (800) 532-9233 to make arrangements for any event or occasion. Or simply visit them at 324 West Bockman Way (next to Red Turner’s Sporting Goods) to browse around the shop.
