Ever thought of changing hair color?
Or cut?
Maybe trying a new nail polish?
Women of the area now have another great reason to attend the 2002 Upper Cumberland Showcase for Women.
In addition to the $3,000 shopping spree offered at the show by Morgan Furniture Center, Jennifer Dodson of Styled and Polished salon is holding a drawing in which four women will win women’s show make overs.
Dodson wants to show women just how wonderful it feels to be pampered.
The names of the four winners will be drawn prior to the women’s show, and the winners will spend part of the day of the event being luxuriously pampered.
Winners receive a haircut (not a trim), hair color, full make-up and polished fingernails.
Imagine; attend the show as a brunette and leave as a blonde!
“The make over provided by Styled and Polished, is a first for the women’s show,” said Christy Hampton, Expositor promotions director.
“Can you imagine winning a head to toe make-over?
I know I would be ecstatic.”
Winners of the make over must agree to have “before and after” photos taken of them, and they will also be required to model onstage for the women’s show audience.
Styled and Polished wants the winners to feel beautiful and special.
“All you have to do to win is to stop by Styled and Polished and register,” said Hampton.
“The make overs will be administered throughout the day of the Upper Cumberland Women’s Show.
Therefore, it’s important the entrants be sure they can spend the entire day at the Upper Cumberland Women’s Show.”
Dodson will be using products from her shop with which to make over the winners.
Nail polish by Opi will be provided, make-up will be from Mary Kay Cosmetics and Farouk hair care products will be used on the winners’ hair.
“The women’s show creates a lot of excitement in our community,” said Hampton, “and this new prize addition only enhances what is already an enriching experience for the women of the Upper Cumberland.”
Styled and Polished is located at 621 Spring Street in Sparta, and business hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with Saturday hours 8 a.m. to noon.
