Betty J. Butcher Burns

Betty J. Butcher Burns, 69, passed away March 23, 2002, at Middle Tenn. Medical Center in Murfreesboro.
Burns was born July 7, 1932, in Warren County, to Walter Butcher and Elsie Lawson Butcher.
She was of the Protestant faith and a retired factory worker.
Burns was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jerry Butcher.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Hicks of McMinnville and Patsy Gaddy of South Carolina; one special friends, James C. Anderson of McMinnville; six brothers, Billy Butcher of Lebanon, Nason Butcher of Michigan, Gary Butcher, Doug Butcher and Waymon Butcher all of McMinnville and Jimmy Butcher of Woodbury; four sisters, Melba Hudson of Michigan, Sandy Shelton of Centertown, Lucille Romans of McMinnville and Linda Adams of Quebeck; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m., March 26, 2002, at Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home Chapel in McMinnville with burial in Smyrna Cemetery. Vernon Curthers and Nester Stewart officiated.
Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home in McMinnville was in charge of arrangements.
