Billy Edwin Hunter, 51, of Cookeville, passed away May 19, 2006, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Hunter was born June 17, 1954, in Henry County, Ind., to Clarence E. Hunter and Shelby Jean Hunter (Cooper).
He had been a member of Trinity Assembly Church and had worked at Russell Stover Candy Factory.
Hunter was preceded in death by his father, Clarence E. Hunter.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Hunter, of Cookeville; two sons, Zachary Smith and James Huddleston, both of Cookeville; mother and stepfather, Shelby Jean Cooper and Earl Lee Cooper, of Cookeville; one sister, Sheree Nicholson, of Grand Prairie, Texas; two brothers, Bobby Hunter and David Hunter, both of Cookeville; and nieces and nephews, Adam Hunter, Holly Hunter, Lucas Hunter, Logan Hunter, Anthony, Alina and Matthew Hunter.
Services were 2 p.m., May 21, 2006, at Whitson Funeral Home, in Cookeville, with burial in Algood City Cemetery. Pastor Mike Campbell and Pastor Jim Moore officiated.
Whitson Funeral Home, in Cookeville, was in charge of arrangements.
