State Senator Janice Bowling (R-Tullahoma) has been holding a series of “listening meetings” to meet with residents and hear their concerns about issues before the state legislature.

Bowling will be in Van Buren County, 9-10 a.m., June 27, at the Van Buren County Justice Center, and in McMinnville, 1-2 p.m., June 27, at the Warren County Administration Building.

Since taking office, Bowling has held monthly public meetings every summer and fall in each of the counties she represents. She said the town hall style meetings have enabled her to meet with many residents about a wide range of issues.  She also offers her constituents assistance with state services.

“I look forward to talking with area citizens about the actions taken during the recently adjourned legislative session and about how we can make our state a better place to work and live,” said Bowling.  “These meetings allow me to make the most of that opportunity by connecting with the great Tennesseans of District 16, providing a listening ear and assisting the community I was elected to serve in any way I can.”
