It’s been a long time coming for Tony May and the staff at Guns and More — a new one-stop shop for firearms, tactical gear and training.
On Monday, Feb. 4, the staff will celebrate the store’s official grand opening with a slew of events and they’re inviting the public to be a part of the celebration.
The day will kick off at 8 a.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Sparta-White County Chamber of Commerce.
At 9 a.m., the local chapter of the VFW will conduct a flag retirement ceremony.
Guests will then be treated to a catered lunch from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. after which the store’s outdoor shooting range will be “christened.”
T-shirts, hats and and a pair of Wiley X protective eyeglasses are just some of the door prizes that will be given away during the event.
Guns and More, located at 6877 Spencer Highway.
After Feb. 4, the store will be open Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.
The shooting range is open during daylight hours on those days.
