Firmon Lee (Pop) Cantrell

In honor and remembrance of service to his country.

Firmon Lee “Pop” Cantrell, 74, formerly of Sparta, passed away July 21, 2008 at his daughter’s home in Metamora, Mich.
Cantrell resided in Oxford, Mich.
He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a lifetime member of Cedar Lodge #60 F&AM, in Clarkston, Mich. He retired as production manager from Ford Motor Company, in 1986.
He was preceded in death by parents, Firmon Gist and Ira Lee Brown Cantrell; two brothers, F.G. “Dutch” Cantrell, Ben Cantrell; one sister, Zula Mae Cantrell Wilson; and wives, Joyce Ann Klein Cantrell and Suzanne Peters Cantrell.
Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Joyce Burbas and husband Don, of Metamora, Mich.; two sons, Robert and wife Gale, Johnny and wife Toni, of Oxford, Mich.; two grandchildren, Chrissie Lowis, Michael Cantrell and wife LeAnn; four great- grandchildren, Mathew, Trevor, Matelyn, Hunter; one sister, Hattie Jo Morgan, Nashville; one brother, William A. Cantrell and wife Jean, Clawson, Mich.; one sister-in-law, Peggy Cantrell, St. Clair Shores, Mich.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
 Woodbine Funeral Home, in Nashville, was in charge of arrangements.
