Isibella Louise Cummins

Isibella Louise Cummins, 80, passed away Dec. 30, 2009, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Cummins was born Oct. 16, 1929, in Hickory Grove, S.C., to Robert Lester Bell and Addie Miller Bell.
She attended Faith Harvest Church of God, in Cookeville. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
Mrs. Cummins was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Fred Cummins; one daughter, Marie Cardwell; one granddaughter, Missy Sockwell; and two sisters, Ruth Wright and Hazel Walker.
Survivors include three daughters, Freida Davis and husband Russian, of Sparta; Cindy Gaffney and husband Andy, of New Jersey, Ann Byrd and husband Mickey, of North Carolina; two sons, Richard Tarkington and wife Jeannie, of North Carolina, Andrew Cummins and wife Jackie, of Sparta; two sisters, Peggy Carr and husband George, Margaret Pursley and husband Sonny, all of South Carolina; three brothers, Dean Bell and wife Matril, Carl Bell and wife Becky, Buddy Bell and wife Aileen, all of South Carolina; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Jan. 2, 2010, at Thurman Funeral Home, with burial in Eastland Cemetery. Bro. Tony Gentry will officiate. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m., Jan. 1, at the funeral home.
Thurman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
