James Allen “Buck” Hill

James Allen “Buck” Hill, 50, of Warren County, passed away Sept. 4, 2002.
Hill was born Feb. 18, 1952, in Warren County, to James Clarence Hill and Mary Thomas Cope.
He attended Charles Creek Baptist Church and had been employed at Calsonic Yoruzu Corp.
Hill was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Lou Herrin; father, James Clarence Hill; and one nephew, Anthony Simmons.
Survivors include three daughters, Jennifer Kay Hill, Rhiannon Nichole Hill and Monica Lance Hill all of McMinnville; mother, Mary Cope of McMinnville; step father, Ray Cope of McMinnville; one sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Gary “Yogi” Bratcher; one step sister and her husband Judy and Orville Cope of McMinnville; one step brother and his wife, Lewis Ray Jr. and Linda Cope of Lewisburg; one brother-in-law, Ned Herrin of McMinnville; one grandson, Devin James Knox of McMinnville; two nephews, Eric and Kerry Self both of McMinnville; and two special friends, Christine Keaton of McMinnville and Billy Braden of Grundy County.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Sept. 6, 2002, at Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home in McMinnville with burial in Charles Creek Cemetery. Cecil Van Winkle officiated.
Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home in McMinnville was in charge of arrangements.
