Mary Ellen Usrey Bohannon

Mary Ellen Usrey Bohannon, 83, of Sparta, passed away Dec. 2, 2004.
Bohannon was born Aug. 27, 1921, in Kentucky, to J.D. Brown and Flora Bailey Brown.
She had been a shirt factory worker.
Bohannon was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, Charlie Lee Cloyd, Howard Usrey, Luchus Franklin Bohannon; two daughters, Helen Usrey, Anna Ruth Cloyd; one son, Harold Thomas Usrey; one brother, Less Brown; and granddaughter, Michelle Sherrel.
Survivors include five daughters, Myrtle Caldwell, of Smithville, Rosie Lee Skiba, of Florida, Barbara Goodwin, of Sparta, Mary Lynch, of Sparta, Sue Grindstaff, of Alabama; five sons, John Cloyd, Charlie Cloyd, both of Sparta, Erbie Usrey, of Mississippi, Charles Usrey, Jim Usrey, both of Sparta; step children, John Bohannon, Mark Bohannon, both of Massachusetts, Paul Bohannon, of Sparta; two sisters, Judy Yates, of Florida, Edith Barker, of Ohio; one brother, Keith Brown, of Ohio; 37 grandchildren; and several great and great-great grandchildren.
Services were at 2 p.m., Dec. 5, 2004, at Findlay Church of Christ with burial in Old Zion Cemetery. Bro. Dwight Fuqua and Bro. Randy White officiated.
Thurman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
