Sparta Police Chief Jeff Guth and Patrolman David Grissom show off the department’s new 2012 Chevy Tahoe, valued at $50,000, that is fully equipped for police duties. Only three of these Tahoes were given away by the Governor’s Highway Office. Guth says this will be used on the road by the officers and not as an administrative vehicle. The complete story was featured in the Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, edition of The Expositor.
