Excited new owners have started remodeling Past Reflections and adding a few of their own personal touches to the gift boutique.
Rodney and Kim Jones bought the thriving business nearly a month ago and are delighted to begin this new phase in their lives.
“We have been wanting to do this a couple of years but just haven’t taken the plunge until now,” said Kim.
With a small, but experienced staff, the company offers personal, helpful service with an eye toward customer satisfaction.
“We can special order many items in several various lines we deal with,” said Kim. “We carry American Girl dolls and Gund products for babies. One of the biggest sellers is the Willow Tree line of products. They come in so many designs.
There is one to fit almost every gift giving or ‘thinking of you’ situation.”
Kim teaches in the White County school system and Ronnie is employed as the lead machine builder at an area company.
Monogrammed items such as baby gifts and one of the newest trends, purses and pillows are available in many styles to suit just about everyone’s taste.
Bridal registry, home décor, children items, unique gift ideas, and furniture make Past Reflections a one-stop shopping place for weddings or a new baby and everything in between.
Another special service Past Reflections offers is custom floral arrangement with an experienced floral designer who can reproduce designs from the customer’s description or a favorite photo.
Kim is very happy to begin the planned expansion of the bridal boutique. This addition will offer brides-to-be a greater selection of stainless, pottery, dishes, accessories and home décor to start their newly married lives.
“We will have a much wider selection of bridal gift items, I am real excited about it.”
During the busy Christmas season, which is fast approaching, the shop will have extended hours beginning the middle of November to help customers mark names off their list.
Delivery is available for all items, and special consideration is given to hospital and funeral home deliveries.
Past Reflections is open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday-Saturday and is located at 5 Gaines Street. For more information or deliveries, call 836-6364.
