White County Sheriff Department is advising the community to be on the lookout for a woman who has been missing since Feb. 16, 2014.
According to Sheriff Oddie Shoupe, Kelly Sue Reightler has not been seen or heard from since she left her residence in the early morning hours of Feb. 16.
Reightler resides on North Star Road, in the Bon Air Mountain community. Authorities say Reightler’s family is concerned about her, especially since she left home without her needed medications.
A report was filed with the sheriff department on Feb. 19. According to Shoupe, multiple searches of the area have been made by the sheriff department, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Sparta-White County Rescue Squad and several volunteer fire departments.
The family has offered a $5,000 reward for Reightler’s safe return or information as to her whereabouts. The reward is still valid if Reightler has met with foul play. However, the family requires that the information leads to the arrest and prosecution of those involved, as well as the return of her person.
Reightler is a white female with black hair and blue eyes. She is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds.
If anyone has any information, contact White County Sheriff Department at (931) 836-2700; Sheriff Oddie Shoupe, (931) 239-8441; or Detective John Meadows, (931) 836-6295.
