Beautiful art. White County Community Hospital Board Chairman Barbara Witzigman helps hospital Administrator Joel Taylor with one of the beautiful paintings created by one of the art students at the Sparta Senior Center.

Several original paintings by members of the art class at Sparta-White County Senior Center have been donated to White County Community Hospital and will be put on display in various patient rooms throughout the hospital.
“We’ve recently re-painted and re-done all of our patient rooms,” said Joel Taylor, WCCH administrator. “They’re good looking, and they add a lot to our patient rooms. We’ve had several compliments already.”
The White County artists, Sarah Farley, Donna Rutledge, Clela Wingo, Edith Bradley, Eneloit Smith and Sam Gardner, donated the paintings to the hospital, with some pieces proudly bearing plaques in memoriam.
Barbara Witzigman, WCCH Board of Directors chairman, and Helen Pate were instrumental in facilitating the donations. Art teacher Betty England helped students prepare the artwork for display.
The artwork will hang in the rooms to help brighten patients’ lives.
