According to unofficial reports, Sparta resident, Troy Wilhite, was taken by Life Force medical helicopter to Erlanger Hospital, on Feb. 22, after he was involved in a crash on West Bockman Way, at the Highway 111 intersection. E-911 records show emergency personnel were dispatched, at approximately 1:45 p.m., and found Wilhite unable to respond to their questions. Officials speculated Wilhite might have had some kind of seizure, which could have been the cause of the crash.
