4-H in THE KITCHEN

Posted

From UT Extension White County - "Another fun day in THE KITCHEN! Today (May 5) we celebrate Cinco de Mayo! We learned that Cinco de Mayo is a holiday celebrated in honor of the Mexican army’s victory at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. The battle took place on May 5, 1862, in the town of Puebla. In addition to the history, we learned to make Chicken Tinga! THANK YOU Kristen Johnson for sharing with us, our youth had a blast and enjoyed their Chicken Tinga."
