Anna Ruth Mullins Conley, 71, of Madison, passed away July 8, 2021, at Creekside Health and Rehabilitation, in Madison.
Mrs. Conley was born April 22, 1950, in Overton County, to Millard Eston Mullins and Hallie Beatrice Andrews Mullins.
For her occupation, she will be listed as a homemaker, however, she was much more than that. She was an active and loving wife and mother. She was not only a mother to her three children whom she loved very much but to all the families that interacted with her and her children. She served as counselor at church camps as her children were growing up and volunteered her time to any function that involved her children. That love of family carried over to the grandchildren who affectionately knew her as Nanny. They were her pride and joy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Mullins.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Dillard Conley; two sons, Kevin Conley, Kenneth Conley and wife Laura; daughter, April Williamson and husband Matt; seven grandchildren, Angel, Daniel, Haylee, Caylee, Grace, Ava, Baylee; brother, Clois Mullins; and two sisters, Margaret Bilyeu and husband Kenneth, Faye Bluhm and husband Jerry.
Funeral service was 1 p.m., July 12, 2021, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Taylor’s Providence Cemetery. Pastor Derek Capello officiated.
Kenny Conley, Daniel Conley, Kevin Conley, Chris Conley, Jimmy Conley and Matt Williamson served as pallbearers.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
