Beat the heat with the Summer Splash 5K on June 24

Get ready to beat the summer heat at the Summer Splash 5K. This race will be held on Saturday, June 24, at 6 p.m., near the Dogwood Park pavilion. Proceeds from the 5K will help local cancer patients. The Summer Splash is a family-friendly 5K offering opportunities to cool off along the course at gentle misting stations and optional drenching stations. Run or walk, participants will likely get wet during this race.   

This race is presented by Eye Centers of Tennessee, Raising Canes and Roland Digital Media. The Summer Splash 5K will also include entertainment before the race at the Dogwood Park pavilion. The race will open on-site registration at 5 p.m. with the race to begin at 6 p.m.

Proceeds from the Summer Splash 5K will go toward the Cancer Fund at Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation in honor and memory of Sarah Alice Bagci. The Cancer Fund provides charitable assistance to struggling Upper Cumberland residents facing a cancer diagnosis.
