Bible’s lessons on blaspheme

The Bible speaks about blaspheme about 100 times.  It is to speak bad about God, his word the Bible, and God`s children. Blaspheming can be cursing God and sacred things. Titus 2:3-5 says the aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things. The older women must teach the young women to be sober (be calm, collected, have good sense, good judgment, wisdom, and not panic in time of stress).

Women are to be realistic and calm. Young women must be taught how to love their husbands and to love their children. If this is not done, the word of God is blasphemed. Also, they are to be discreet (be careful and circumspect in their speech and actions, especially avoiding to cause offense or gain undue advantage), be chaste (pure), keepers at home (engaged in making a house a home). This includes everything from cooking to cleaning house to teaching children about God and the church. They are to be taught how to be good, Godly, and kind. Also, to be obedient to their own husband. If this is not done the word of God is blasphemed.

What a terrible thing to be guilty of blaspheming the Bible. The Bible is of no use unless it is taught. Young men (male children) likewise are to be exhorted (encouraged as well as commanded) to be sober-minded. This means that we do not allow ourselves to be captivated by any type of influence that would lead us away from sound judgment or conclusions such as alcohol or drugs or false teachings. The sooner this is started in a child’s life the better. II Timothy 3:12-17 says Yea, all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them. And from a child thou hast known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

How great it is when women like Eunice and Lois, the mother and grandmother of Timothy, made sure the word of God is not blasphemed by teaching Timothy the Bible while he was still a child.

Romans 2: 21-24 says. Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? Thou that preaches a man should not steal, dost thou steal? Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? Thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? Thou that makes thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonorest thou God? For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

Acts 18: 4-6 says. And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks. And when Silas and Timothy were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ. And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, your blood be upon your own heads, I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

Matthew 15: 17-20 says. Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart: and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man but to eat with unwashed hands defiled not a man.

Acts 2:38 Says Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 22:16 says. And now why tarriest thou Paul? Arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. Therefore, sins are not removed until one is baptized. To say that one is saved before being baptized in water is to blaspheme the word of God. God has only one way to save people and it is spelled out in the book of Acts. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Romans 5:2 says. We access God`s grace by faith, and whatsoever is not of faith is sin. Once God`s word has produced the proper faith, we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Romans 10:10 says. That with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. With proper study we repent of the sins that we know that we have committed. Then we are baptized into Christ.

Galatians 3:27. Now we are ready to study to show ourself approved unto God and live the Christian life and go to Heaven.
