Billie Roberts, 61, passed from this earth Aug. 31, 2022, at Cumberland Medical Center, in Crossville.
Billie was born July 6, 1961, in Crossville, the second son and fourth child of Elanze Austin Jr. and Barbara Anne Austin.
Billie was a proud veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Elanze Austin III; and sisters, Mariann Spivey and Teresa Austin.
Survivors include his son, William Austin and Shannon; grandchildren, Lettie and Lauryn Austin, of Crossville; daughter, Kathleen Pope and Chris; grandchild, Callie of Statesville, North Carolina; sister June Jennings and Richard, of Smithville; sister, Peggy Austin, of Crossville; brother, Richard Austin, of Crossville.
He is survived by the love of his life, Carrie Austin, with grandchildren Talencia, Ticarra, Tatiana, Anthony, and Ethan, and Skylar Faye.
He leaves behind many nieces and nephews and friends.
Billie was a muscle car enthusiast and loved riding his 1973 vintage Harley Davidson.
Recently, Billie and Carrie spent some time traveling, visiting beautiful places and seeing family they love and just enjoying life. Billie enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved family get-togethers, especially during the holidays. He always had time to help his family and friends. He will be missed by so many.
Funeral service was 5 p.m., Sept. 5, 2022, at Thurman Funeral Home. Ralph Reagan officiated.
Thurman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
