Zina Blanchard Tubb, 70, of Sparta, passed away Jan. 7, 2021, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Mr. Tubb was born Feb. 8, 1950, in Ohio, to Dibrell and Falbia Tubb.

He started working at Red Kap at the age of 17, continuing there as plant manager until his retirement. Not only was he a loving husband, father, and grandfather, but Mr. Tubb was also a man of many artistic talents. He was a skilled artist, carpenter, and gunsmith. Mr. Tubb was very well respected and loved by many and will truly be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Tubb.

He is lovingly survived by his wife, Joan Wallace Tubb, of Sparta; daughters, Shannon Cantrell, Holly Cravens; grandchildren, Dakota Cantrell, Dusty (Laura Beth) Cantrell, Dylan Cantrell, Harleigh Huckeby, Caleb Cravens, Makenna (Chance) Kelley; and great-grandchild, Renleigh Cantrell.

Funeral service will be 4 p.m., Jan. 10, 2021, at Central Church of Christ. Topher Wiles will officiate. The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m., Jan. 10, at the church.

Alan Fisher, Gerald Fisher, Mike Fisher, Chad Fisher, Michael Honaker, Jeff Tollison, Freeman Allison, and Bobby Boylan will serve as pallbearers
