Bob Morris, 93, a resident of Sparta, passed away Sept. 22, 2020, at Erlanger Baroness Hospital.
Mr. Morris was born May 21, 1927, to Lee and Flora Morris.
He was a proud World War II veteran and served in the United States Army for 21 years.
He was preceded in death by his parent; brothers, Bill Morris, Lee Morris, Frank Morris; and son, Michael Eugene Morris.
Mr. Morris leaves behind his beloved wife of 66 years and nine months, Helen Morris; sons, Roger (Peggy) Morris, of Sparta, Clyde (Terresa) Morris, of Sparta; grandchildren, Steve Morris, of Sparta, Anna Morris, of Cookeville, Kim Morris, of Sparta, Sonya (William) Barnhill, of McMinnville, Sherry (Lance) Rollings, of Illinois, David Morris, of McMinnville, Eric Morris, of Ohio; six wonderful great-grandchildren, Logan Barnhill, Blake Barnhill, Shelby Barnhill, Alexis Morris, Madison Shinabery, Allison Shinabery; and adopted by love, Joseph, Daisy, and Cooper Brown
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Sept. 27, 2020, at Hunter Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, with military honors by the United States Army Honor Guard. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m., Sept. 26, at the funeral home. Bro. Isiah Smith and Bro. John Herron will officiate.
Roger Morris, Steve Morris, Kevin Young, Clyde Morris, Billy J. Morris, and Lynn Redwine will serve as pallbearers.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
