Brenda Sue Hale McCormick, 72, of Walling, passed away Sept. 6, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. McCormick was born on Aug. 26, 1948, in Sparta, to Jesse and Ruby Hale.
She was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ and worked in the medical field all her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Shannon Lynn McCormick; nephew, Michael McCormick; and brother-in-law, Kenneth McCormick.
Surviving family include her husband of 55 years, Gordon McCormick; daughter, Ashley McCormick; and grandson, Zachary McCormick (Kayla).
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Sept. 11, 2020, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with burial in Plainview Cemetery, in the Cassville community. Ronnie Taylor and Don Shuster will officiate. The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m., Sept. 10, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include James Green, Keith Slatten, Mike Prater, Buddy Elrod, Kenny King, and Billy Anderson.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
