Charles Emmit Youngblood, 78, of Walling, passed away July 24, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Charles was born March 31, 1946, in White County, to Sol Emmit “Buddy” and Lennvill Lee Young Youngblood.

He retired from Chrysler after 32 years of service. He enjoyed farming, raising exotic animals, hunting, and fishing. Charles was always ready to help a friend in need. For several years he cut firewood for UCHRA to give to families in need as well as his friends. His greatest joy was being Pa to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by first wife, Mae Lois Youngblood; sister, Louise “Susie” Jarchow-Snow; and brother, James Edward Youngblood.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Griffin Youngblood; son, Johnney Youngblood; two daughters, Rachel (James) Hale, Ashley Tittsworth; brother, Don (Wanda) Youngblood; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was 1 p.m., July 27, 2024, at Hensley Chapel Baptist Church, with burial in Young Cemetery. Dewey Young officiated.

Jesse Youngblood, Jeremy Youngblood, Chance Smith, Billy Tittsworth, Jayden Hale, and Hayden Tittsworth served as pallbearers.

Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
