Christopher Ray Smith, 45, of Sparta, passed away Nov. 19, 2024.
He was born June 11, 1979, in Smithville, to Garry Smith and Patricia McCulley.
He was preceded in death by his father, Garry (Smooty) Smith; grandmother, Ruby Smith; grandfathers, Fred Smith, Ronald McCulley, Papa Melvin Hall; and cousin, Ronnie D. Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Shana Smith; grandmother, Elsie Hall; mother, Patricia McCulley; stepmother, Kim Smith; daughters, Jacqueline (Dannon) Gentry, Jenna (Austin) Roberts, Gracie Smith, Christian Smith, Russell Barnes; grandchildren, Trinity, Caynen, Eden, Leo, Maggie, Evalyn; sisters, Erica Smith, Trudy Phifer; aunt and uncle, Ronnie and Phyliss; nieces and nephews, Slayton (Carman) Evans, Hunter (Jade) Evans, Mia Evans; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service was 11 a.m., Nov. 23, 2024, at Thurman Funeral Home, with burial in Spencer Town Cemetery. Wayne Sullivan officiated.
Thurman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
