Cleda Massa Terry, 75, of Sparta, passed away Sept. 12, 2020, at University of Florida Health-North Hospital, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Mrs. Terry was born March 9, 1945, in White County, to Norman and O’Dell Massa.

She was a member of Lost Creek Church of Christ until closing and later at O’Connor Church of Christ.

Momma (Grandmommy) was a full-time homemaker in both   Tennessee and their vacation home, in Georgia. She dearly loved and appreciated her husband, Randall.  She lived to spend every moment possible with her grandchildren and daughters.  Momma enjoyed making her home beautiful inside and out, from crafts to gardening in her flower beds.  Christmas was her favorite time of the year because it allowed to her bake wonderful goodies and decorate extravagantly.  Watching her grandchildren light up with awe during the holidays was perhaps the fullest joy she could have ever known.

This devoted wife, mother, and grandmother will be dearly missed and forever loved.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Helen Pullum (Taylor Pullum), who had resided in Sparta, Jimmy Massa (Deloris Massa), who had resided in Detroit, Michigan, Barbara Massa Palmer White (Monroe Palmer), who resided in Sparta, and Ralph Massa, who had resided in Cookeville.

Survivors include her husband, Randall Terry, of Sparta; daughters, Cristal Terry, of Nashville, Nicola Terry Holley, of Hilliard, Florida; grandchildren, Logan Elizabeth Holley, Palyn Nicole Holley, Conrad Hamilton Holley, of Hilliard, Florida; sister, Patty Daniels (Dale Daniels), of Sparta; brothers-in-law, Bill Terry (Carolyn Terry), of Maryville, Russell Terry (Marie Terry,) of Sparta; aunt, Eva Stockstill, of Cookeville; special nephew, Shannon Daniels, of Sparta; and additional nieces, nephews, and extended family.
