Clinton Elias Gottlied, the 4-month-old son of Christian and Summer Gottlied, of Sparta, passed away March 20, 2021, at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, in Nashville.
He was preceded in death by a cousin, Everleigh Vincent; grandmother, Jerri Spivey; great-grandmother, Linda Spivey; and great-grandfather, Jerome Teachout.
In addition to his parents, Clinton is survived by a brother, Johnathin Gottlied, of Sparta; grandparents, John Gottlied III, of Sparta, Tierra Yho, of Sparta, Clinton Spivey, of Coalmont; great-grandparents, Brenda Teachout, of New York, Mary Gottlied and John Gottlied II, both of Sparta; and aunts and uncles, Cierra Cawthorne, Catherine Gottlied, James Gottlied, Clarissa Claiborne, Ray (Brittany) Vincent, Amanda (Drake Clouse) Vincent, Seth (Kayla) Vincent, and Kaitlyn Spivey.
A memorial service for Clinton will be at a later time.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Smithville, is in charge of arrangements.
