Cookeville-Putnam County Christmas Parade

Posted

The Cookeville-Putnam County Christmas Parade returns to downtown, at 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10.

This year’s parade will feature float entries from across the region displaying their best version of this year’s theme, “A Cookeville Country Christmas.” Christmas Parade Float Entry Forms can be picked up at and returned to the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce. Float entries are free.

This year’s grand marshal will be Rich Froning, owner of CrossFit Mayhem and four-time “Fittest Man on Earth." Froning is a native to Cookeville and has had a significant impact to our community through his volunteer and sponsor efforts for various non-profits in our area.

The parade route begins at the corner of 6th Street and Washington Avenue and continues to the square at Broad Street and on to the Cookeville Depot Museum.

The parade will be broadcas on WCTE and emceed by Chamber President Amy New and WCTE-PBS CEO Avery Hutchins.
