COVID vaccine hours changing at Cookeville Regional Medical

Posted

Over the past year, the pharmacy staff at Cookeville Regional Medical Center have been available to administer the COVID vaccine to the public and healthcare employees on the front lines.

The state department of health is reporting that nearly 50 percent of Putnam County residents are fully vaccinated while almost 54 percent have at least one dose and 19 percent have a booster.

With the number of those seeking vaccines going down, the clinic hours will be changing.

Starting Thursday, March 10, the vaccine clinic will be held from 1-5 p.m. each week in the North Patient Tower lobby.

Only two vaccines will be available: Pfizer and Moderna.
