Dalmas Clark “D.C.” Bussell, 60, of Sparta, passed away March 28, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Bussell was born Dec. 9, 1960, in Sparta. He was the son of Melvin Bussell and Joan Brasel Bussell.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Bussell loved to fish and was a gun enthusiast.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Elvis and Billie Masters, and several aunts.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Masters Bussell, of Sparta; daughter, Megan McGuire (Shawn), of Sparta; son, Joshua Austin, of Sparta; grandchildren, Connor McGuire, Kaylee Grosch; aunt, Judy Underhill, of Livingston; uncle, Joseph Brasel, of Sparta; and many cousins, friends, and neighbors.
The family is honoring his wishes with cremation.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m., April 6, 2021, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with Justin McCulley officiating. The family will welcome friends 5-7 p.m., April 6, at the funeral home.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
