Timothy Todd Davidson, age 26, was indicted by the White County Grand Jury, on May 21, 2020, according to District Attorney General Byrant Dunaway.
Davidson recently appeared before the Criminal Court and entered a plea to the following offenses.
According to Dunaway, Davidson was driving his vehicle on Smithville Highway, in White County, when he crossed the center line, causing a head-on collision that involved a total of three vehicles. Lab testing revealed that he had methamphetamine in his bloodstream at the time of the crash.
Gina Stewart was killed as a result of the crash. Two others were injured.
Dunaway stated that Davidson received a 10-year sentence for the vehicular homicide conviction, which he will serve in prison. He was sentenced to three years for each of the vehicular assault charges.
