Dickie Alfred Denton, 64, of Doyle, passed away Sept. 21, 2020, at his home in Doyle.
Mr. Denton was born Nov. 10, 1955. He was the son of Herman Denton and Lillie Ovean Luna Phifer.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Lou Denton; children, Misty Schulze and husband Mert, of Pasadena, Maryland, Dickie Denton II and wife Amy, of South Haven, Mississippi, Kyle Denton and wife Tiphanie, of Smithville, Stoney Hunt and Teri, of Whitleyville, Gary Hunt, of Cookeville, Douglas Hunt and wife Kathy, of Jamestown; brothers, Ricky Denton and wife Gwen, Randy Denton and wife Jennifer; sister, Tracy Denton; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Sept. 23, 2020, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with burial in Copeland Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Derek Wilson and Bro. Bucky Floyd will officiate. The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m., Sept. 22, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Bucky Floyd, Danny Lee, Robert McCormick, Sam Roberts, Joe Adkison, and Steve Floyd.
Honorary pallbearer is Dolphus Smith.
The family has requested that all attendees please wear a face mask due to COVID-19. Please continue to practice social distancing while attending all visitations and services at Oak Lawn Funeral Home.
