Local Domino’s owners Jon and Danielle Powers offered a new fundraising program this year in an effort to serve the neighborhood. $11,505 was raised to provide the children of Findlay Elementary School with new playground equipment. The fundraiser took place over two weeks, during which third grader Maddox Sawyer was the top seller. As a prize, Maddox was awarded two $50 Amazon gift cards. Maddox was not the only rock star. Findlay Elementary School PTO ranked top in the country both weeks. As a result, the school was also rewarded with an extra $200. The members of the Parent and Teacher Organization worked together with their principal, their teachers, and the entire student body in this awesome effort. Additionally, the entire community rallied to lead the school to success. This phenomenal outcome goes to show that small businesses can help to make a difference in their communities. Everyone involved deserves a huge thanks for helping a school in need.
