For the greater good

The United States of America is the greatest and most admired nation in the world.  That is an undisputed fact.  Our vibrant capitalistic-based economy, along with our world-class military prowess, our religious and individual freedoms, and our Constitutional Federal Republic government; i.e. of the people, by the people and for the people, is unmatched by any other nation.  Of course, along with earned admiration of any kind comes envy and spite. In saying that, I am reminded of the following lyrical line from one of Frank Sinatra’s great songs ... “some people get their kicks stomping on a dream.”  When you read that do the words “Socialist Democrats” cross your mind?  They should!

While most of the spite for our country is foreign-based in Communist, Socialist, Marxist and Islamic countries, we began to experience our own home-grown version of anti-Americanism during the period 2009-2016.  I refer  to the eight dark years of economic decline, widespread unemployment, record numbers of people on welfare/food stamps, forced government insurance, and loss of political respect for our country on the world stage as the Democrat team of Barack Obama and Joe Biden knelt before foreign kings and our arch enemies. They apologized for our greatness.  In doing so, they condoned the anti-American sentiment and evil of these envious and ruthless regimes.

Does apologizing on bended-knee engender respect?  My one-word opinion is NO!  What Obama and Biden did was embarrass our country and themselves.  They, in effect, belittled the American people and the great achievements of our ancestors.  That is just one of the reasons why the president and vice-president tandem of Obama and Biden is widely considered the worst in our country’s history.

If you take issue with that, consider the following: Obama and Biden neglected our military, enacted laws that drove American companies out of the USA to foreign locations like China.  They told us that our glory days as a nation and world leader were over and that the American jobs lost to foreign countries were never coming back.  We were told to get accustomed to it.

They were involved in a huge cash payment to the fanatical religious/terrorists leaders of the Islamic Country of Iran in return for the latter’s verbal promise to stop their efforts to produce nuclear weapons. The Iranians took the money and continued their nuclear research program.  Where is the greater good in that? Obama and Biden showed the Iranians and the rest of the world just how naive and incapable they really were.

And, if that wasn’t bad enough Obama, Biden, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton worked together in a complicated deal to allow Rosatom, the Russian nuclear energy agency to acquire a controlling stake in Uranium One, a Canadian-based company with mining interests in the Western United States; i.e. exploration projects in Arizona, Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah.  Where is the greater good in allowing Russia, an arch enemy of the USA and democracy, access to uranium, which is used to make nuclear bombs?  And, which is mined in the United States?

On Sept. 11, 2012, this same trio - Obama, Biden and Hillary - left J. Christopher Stevens, our ambassador in Libya, to be murdered by hardline Islamic radicals and then tried to lie and distort the circumstances.  You may recall that Ambassador Stevens was mutilated and dragged through the streets.  I remember it vividly.  Although, they tried to blame the military for the non-rescue, it should be remembered that during the Obama-Biden administration our military services were underfunded , under-trained, under-manned, under-equipped and under-supplied.  It is Obama, Biden, and  Hillary who have Ambassador Stevens’ blood on their hands.

If you are wondering why I brought up these past events, I have two primary reasons for doing so.  First, as the foregoing demonstrates, Joe Biden’s name is always in the middle of a mess and mistakes.  He has been in the political swamp that is Washington, D.C. for almost 50 years, and he has accomplished nothing of real significance.  Obama chose him as his vice-president because of his Congressional tenure, and he was just bright enough to be useful.  In sum, he fit the profile of a loyal heel-hound who would do what he was told.

Second, I want to remind one and all that the so-called good old days during Obama and Biden’s eight-year residency in the White House were not good days.  Remember all the unkept promises and the outright lies?  For instance, with Obama Care we were told that (01) we could keep our doctors and our own insurance plans, and (02) everyone would save on average $2,000 each year.  That turned out to be a gigantic falsehood.  Although billed as being for the greater good of the country, Obama Care turned out to be just what is was from the start, another failed and expensive Socialist program that failed the people.  My friends, that has been and continues to be the inevitable result of every Socialist program in the world.

I have said this in many of my previous writings, but I am going to say it again; i.e. socialism is the most failed political system in the world.  And, wouldn’t you know it, Joe Biden is running on a pro-Socialist platform written in large part by Bernie Sanders, a life-long Socialist serving as a U.S. senator from Vermont.

In the unlikely event that Biden is elected, he will be president in name only.  Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, and Nancy Pelosi will run the country.  Biden is frail and in declining health; he has mental/memory problems.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2020.  We have less than 50 days before the most important election in U.S. history.  Each of us must decide which candidate and what he stands for will receive our important vote.  Party affiliation should not be the deciding factor of who to vote for.

If you want socialism, bigger government, higher taxes, and less say in the future of the country, then vote for Joe Biden.  If you want a robust economy, less taxes, less government in your life, a brighter future for your children and grandchildren, then vote for Donald Trump.  He is a promise keeper, and, in his first four-year term, he has accomplished more than any other American president.    Without a doubt, he is the most job-focused and energetic president ever.  He is a proven problem solver.  As president, he has achieved record- setting economic and employment goals, modernized our military, and brought about tax cuts.  He has guided us through the Chinese-spawned pandemic. He accomplished all this with little or no help from a sullen Democrat-controlled U.S. House of Representative .   For the greater good of the country, Donald Trump is, by far,  the best choice for President.

That’s my opinion.  God Bless America!
