Future firefighter and real estate agent, archer and golfer focuses on the future

Posted

Kaden Sparks is entering his junior year at White County High School and has proven that great students are often successful in a variety of endeavors.

Sparks, who has finished two years at White County High School and is carrying a 4.0 grade point average as he starts his third year as a Warrior, earned an OSHA 10 General Industry certification this past school year. He also is a member of the BETA Club, showing that study skills and leadership skills go hand in hand.

In addition to being a standout in the classroom, Sparks was a member of the Warrior Archery Team that won the state championship, and he is also a member of the Warrior Golf Team. Sparks has learned that spending time outside of the classroom is just as important to his overall experience at White County High School as is his studying.

The now-junior, who has plans to attend firefighting school as well as study to get a real estate license after he finishes high school, is well liked by teachers, coaches, teammates, and cohorts alike.

“Kaden is a great kid,” Tyler Hillis, who has had Sparks in class, said. “Very smart. Works hard in class and has an enjoyable personality.”
