Gerard Van Eick Jr., age 63, while at Cookeville Regional Medical Center, went home to be with the Lord, on Sept. 6, 2021.
Mr. Van Eick was born Aug. 6, 1958, in Ketchikan, Arkansas, to Jerry and Dot Van Eick.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Tina Van Eick; brothers, Roy (Lisa) Van Eick, Walter Van Eick; son, Waylon Duff; and numerous family members and friends.
A memorial service will be 5 p.m., Sept. 12, 2021, at Christian Life First Assembly of God, 117 N. Spring St., in Sparta. The service will be livestreamed on Facebook with Christian Life First Assembly of God.
Thurman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
